A week in Art

This week marks the opening of the 2014 Whitney Biennial. In the past the shows have both blown me away or left me completely underwhelmed. No matter how you assess, like many big art affairs its crowded and surrounded by a lot of hype.  However, when it’s special it is very special. In 2006, In a life changing event, I was first introduced to Zak Smith at the Biennial when he exhibited his illustrations of Gravity’s Rainbow. Before I head to Virginia for a month, Jared and I will be checking the show out on Friday, but in the mean time I will leave you with this guide from the New York times. Have a great Week.
